About Us

We live in the bay area with our trusty cat, Maca. We're engineers by trade (surprise surprise), and a wrench monkey and questionable hobbyist on the side. When we're not working, you can find us somewhere in the outdoors, in the garage, or trying to coax Maca to find random things we manage to lose in the house.

After getting his first car upon arriving to the states, Mirko has become obsessed with cars...and ATVs...and I foresee dirtbikes somewhere in the future. His pride and joy is his Mazda rx7, a sprightly red +400hp pony that is currently awaiting a trip to the dyno. His Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution is next in queue for modding. He also likes tools - and clearly, he has proven that one cannot have too many tools.

I feel pretty lucky that my mom loves food, and always tried to emulate all sorts of cuisines at home while I was growing up. I am currently trying to follow in her footsteps and frequently try out different recipes. Although I can't guarantee Mirko that our lunch box will always be the best thing ever, it helps that he's open to pretty much everything I cook. I also just caught the craft bug and love perusing through etsy for ideas on interior decoration and DIY stuff! Paper crafts, stamps, sewing....it never ends.
